SHARED GOAL: Raise awareness of the commuter traffic risks and statistics (especially to local pedestrians and cyclists) in the zip codes most affected in the Southern Rainier Valley corridor in Seattle.

 

SDOT worked with NONWHITEWORKS to create community engagement events/information sessions, marketing materials, and public-facing campaign materials including billboards, yard signs, transit ads, and school supplies designed to engage and stimulate awareness around key issues affecting locals, with a specific focus on youth of color. All materials will be available in the languages of the local community.
